Treadwell's Ice Cream mural
For Treadwell's 80th anniversary, I was hired to paint a mural on the concrete barriers outside of their shop. The final design consists of a playful pattern inspired by their iconic ice cream cone sign and pink and purple brand colors.

Sketches and alternate explorations
I provided the team at Treadwell's with a variety of explorations to choose from. Some ideas leaned into minimalism (like pulling inspiration from the checkered pattern on the store's windows). Other Ideas leaned into maximalism (like creating a playful grid of different menu items). The team eventually landed on the pattern of ice cream cones, stars, and swirls, which felt like the right balance of simplicity and detail.
